LCD Soundsystem will return to the road this spring with two four-night residencies set to take place in Philadelphia, PA and Boston, MA. These will mark the first shows of 2022 for the Brooklyn-based dancetronica punks.

First, on March 28th, James Murphy will lead the group to Philly’s Franklin Music Hall for the first of four nights. LCD will then perform on the 29th, 30th, and 31st to round out the run of shows. After a couple of days off, the band will head off to the newly-constructed, 3,500 capacity Roadrunner in Boston, kicking off the residency on Sunday, April 3rd, with additional performances on the 4th, 5th, and 6th.

A fan presale will begin on Thursday, February 24th, at 10 a.m. ET. The general on-sale for all eight shows will then open this Friday, February 25th, at 10 a.m. ET. Head here for purchase options and more information.

These performances will mark LCD’s first of the year. In late 2021, the band canceled the final three shows of its 20-date residency at Brooklyn Steel in New York as the Omicron variant began spreading quickly throughout the country. While LCD Soundsystem has not yet announced new dates for NYC, it did promise ticketholders that they would be first in line whenever the shows are rescheduled.
