LCD Soundsystem’s first U.S. headline dates of 2018 have been confirmed. On April 27, LCD Soundsystem will hit the Greek Theatre in Berkeley, CA. From there, the band will head to the Santa Barbara Bowl in Santa Barbara, CA and the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, CA on May 3 & 4. The band’s May 4 return to the Hollywood Bowl will feature Yeah Yeah Yeahs plus special guest TBA, while April 27’s headline at the Greek Theatre in Berkeley will feature support from TV On The Radio.
Tickets for the new dates will be on sale to the public Friday, January 26 at 10 am local time. Check the band’s website for further information.
LCD Soundsystem recently released their highly anticipated new LP, American Dream—an album that comes seven years after their last full-length album, This Is Happening, and six years after their breakup.
Up next for LCD Soundsystem is a pair of performances at the Belly Up Aspen on January 25 and 26 during the Winter X-Games fat Buttermilk Mountain. Also on the bill for the weekend are hip-hop legends Method Man & Redman, super producer Martin Garrix, and bass/house DJ Marshmello (more information here).
