Polyethnic Cajun slamgrass six-piece Leftover Salmon has announced their New Year’s Eve plans with a performance scheduled at Denver’s newly opened Mission Ballroom.
In celebration of their 30th anniversary, Leftover Salmon’s “30 Year’s Under The Big Top!” blowout will include special guests Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe and Lindsay Lou.
A snippet of Leftover Salmon’s announcement reads,
We are honored to ring in the new year at this amazing new venue here in our home state of Colorado, where it all began 30 years ago! This night is sure to be a circus!!
Salmon guitarist Vince Herman added,
A long strange swim it’s been for Salmon. Through many incarnations, losses, joys, festivals, bars, barns, mountains, rivers, oceans, benefits, weddings, and goat yoga sessions; we have kept the big ball rolling with a love of music and each other to keep ourselves plowing ahead the only way we know how. Thank you all for letting us have this much fun for so long. We are really excited to bring in the new year (and celebrate 30 years as a band) at home in Denver’s brand new Mission Ballroom, an absolute state of the art venue we hope to call home for years to come.”
A pre-sale begins this Thursday, August 15th from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. (MST) using the password “BIGTOP” here. Tickets go on sale to the general public beginning on Friday, August 15th at 10 a.m. (MST).
