On Tuesday, adorable 5-year-old drumming prodigy Justin Wilson II stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show for a performance. Much like his last performance on Ellen, which saw him tackle the Lenny Kravitz hit “Fly Away”, this time around, Justin took on another Kravitz favorite, “Are You Gonna Go My Way”. Little did Justin know, Kravitz was there to watch his performance and strolled out on stage to surprise him as he finished.
The shock and awe on Justin’s face when Lenny popped out is sure to put a smile on your face. Perhaps even more impressive is that Justin continued to keep time like a pro even after seeing his hero step out to surprise him.
Even after the Lenny surprise, Ellen had more excitement in store for Justin. Citing his love for Spider-Man, the host had her crew roll out a personalized Spidey bedroom set for the young drummer. While he had just been treated to a visit by his favorite rockstar, being a 5-year-old boy, he may have been even more excited about the sweet superhero swag. Watch the whole thing go down below:

Beyond being straight-up adorable, young Justin Wilson is a legitimate beat master. He’s been causing jaws to drop with his impressive drumming chops for years—a pretty impressive feat for someone who’s only been alive for five. You can check out more clips of Justin rocking out on his Instagram page @babyboydrummer. Prepare to be blown away…
