Les Claypool will hit the road in 2026 with Claypool Gold, a touring triumvirate of Primus, The Claypool Lennon Delirium, and Fearless Flying Frog Brigade. The 2026 Claypool Gold tour will feature all three bands performing onstage at once for fluid shows with “wildly different setlists and surprises” [get tickets].
The 30-date tour will kick off on May 20th in Reno, NV, and travel to the East Coast and back before wrapping on July 4th in Napa, CA. Throughout the spring and summer tour, Claypool Gold will visit outdoor amphitheaters and indoor venues in Salt Lake City (5/26), St. Louis (5/30), Cleveland (6/2), Chicago (6/3), The Caverns‘ above-ground amphitheater in Pelham, TN (6/5), Boston (6/10), Asbury Park, NJ (6/13), All Good Now in Columbia, MD (6/14), St. Augustine, FL (6/19), Atlanta (6/20), Austin (6/23), two nights at Colorado’s Dillin Amphitheater (6/27–6/28), Pheonix (6/30), San Diego (7/1), and more.
A pre-sale for tickets to the 2026 Claypool Gold tour will begin Wednesday, January 21st at 10 a.m. local time, followed by the general on-sale Friday, January 23rd at 10 a.m. local time. Find tickets and tour dates here.
Les original convened Claypool Gold for Primus’ 2024 New Year’s Eve run following drummer Tim “Herb” Alexander‘s sudden resignation from the band. That run in Oakland, CA, featured Primus alongside members of the Frog Brigade and Claypool’s Holy Mackerel. After an Interstellar Drum Derby, Les and guitarist Larry “Ler” LaLonde picked relatively unknown Shreveport, LA, beatkeeper John Hoffman as their new man behind the kit.
The tour announcement arrives on the same day as the first new Claypool Lennon Delirium release in seven years, “WAP”. Available now, the poli-psych commentary reunites the dynamically absurdist songwriting duo of Les Claypool and Sean Ono Lennon. The son of John Lennon and Yoko Ono said in a December 2025 interview that the band will release a 2LP concept album, The Great Parrot Ox and The Golden Egg of Empathy, early this year.
