Funk-rock outfit Lettuce has shared the premiere of the “Everybody Wants To Rule The World” lyric video. The song is featured on Elevate, the band’s fifth full-length studio LP.

“Everybody Wants To Rule the World” is among the most well-loved songs in the band’s catalog, with onstage performances of the Tears for Fears’ 1985 mega-hit dating back nearly a decade.

Lettuce will begin an extensive tour in 2020 covering ground in the United States and Europe. The Elevate tour begins in the U.S. with a performance in Greenville, SC on January 2nd and ends with a show in New Haven, CT on February 1st. The tour will also see the band make stops in Charleston, SC (1/4); Houston, TX (1/23); Austin, TX (1/24); Dallas, TX (1/25); Tulsa, OK (1/26); Louisville, KY (1/28); Detroit, MI (1/29); and McKees Rocks, PA (1/30).

The European leg of the tour opens with a performance at Glasgow, U.K.’s Oran Mor on February 18th and ends with a show at Stockholm, Sweden’s Nalen Klubb on March 13th. Lettuce will then make stops in London (2/19); Amsterdam (2/20); Brussels (2/22); Paris (2/25); Madrid (2/27); Zurich (3/1); Berlin (3/9); Oslo (3/12), and more.
