The far-reaching funk explorers of Lettuce have announced the 2026 edition of their long-running RAGE!FEST concert series in New Orleans during Jazz Fest. This year, the party will return to The Joy Theater on Thursday, April 30th, coinciding with the second Thursday of New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival 2026 [ticketing information].
Pre-sale tickets for the 2026 edition of Lettuce: RAGE!FEST go on sale beginning Thursday, January 15th at 10:00 a.m. CT here using the password RAGEJOY. Remaining tickets go on sale to the general public here beginning Friday, January 16th at 10:00 a.m. CT here.
The Grammy-nominated outfit—comprised of Adam Deitch (drums, percussion, arrangement), Adam “Shmeeans” Smirnoff (guitar), Erick “Jesus” Coomes (bass), Ryan Zoidis (saxophones), Eric “Benny” Bloom (trumpet), and Nigel Hall (keyboards, vocals)—has been a fixture at The Joy Theater during the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival for several years. Lettuce made annual trips to The Joy between 2016 and 2022, pandemic years excluded, for a series of special performances billed as RAGE!FEST. In 2023, the band relocated its annual NOLA soiree to the Saenger Theatre for an orchestral hybrid show alongside the Louisiana Philharmonic, followed by a triumphant return to The Joy Theater in 2024. While 2025’s RAGE!FEST shifted to the Orpheum Theatre, the party is once again set to return to The Joy in 2026.
The 2026 RAGE!FEST performance will also celebrate a long-in-the-making milestone for Lettuce in the Crescent City, as it will follow the group’s first-ever appearance at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival fairgrounds earlier that day.
