Levitate Music & Arts Festival has announced the artist lineup for its 11th annual event, due to take place at the Marshfield Fairgrounds in Marshfield, MA on July 5th, 6th, and 7th, 2024.

Leading the lineup are a mix of rock, reggae, funk, indie, country, and soul acts including Sublime (featuring Jakob Nowell, son of founding singer Bradley Nowell, alongside the surviving members of the original lineup), Lake Street Dive, Mt. Joy, Tash Sultana, Dirty Heads, Charley Crockett, Oliver Anthony (in his first ever New England performance), Cory Wong, Iration, The Elovaters, and Goose offshoot Orebolo.

Other artists due to perform at Levitate in 2024 include Ziggy Alberts, G. Love & Special Sauce, Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country, Neal Francis, Richy Mitch & the Coal Miners, The Hip Abduction, Little Stranger, The Moss, Karina Rykman, Joe Samba, Grace Bowers, Jon Muq, Stolen Gin, Mark King Band, The Rins, and Lee Ross.

In addition to the music, the eco-driven and family-friendly Levitate Music & Arts Festival will feature a mix of artisan vendors, diverse cuisine, and wide-ranging experiences ranging from live art installations to kids’ activities (including the return of the Kids Zone run by Levitate Camp Counselors which will encourage creativity and a love of the outdoors among the next generation of music fans).

Levitate was founded in 2003 as a community-focused surf and skate shop that steadily grew through local support and grassroots marketing. Over the past 20 years, these original core values of community, creativity, and a connectedness to nature have been woven into all aspects of Levitate’s growth, from the development of an apparel line and kids’ summer camps to the expansion of its flagship store to an outdoor restaurant and music and events venue to the continued success of their signature festivals (Levitate Music & Arts Festival and Levitate Flannel Jam) to the launch of the non-profit Levitate Foundation 501(c)(3) which aims to cultivate vibrant communities by creating and conserving access to music, art, and the outdoors. One percent of each ticket sold for this year’s will be contributed to the Levitate Foundation.

As Daniel Hassett, founder of Levitate, noted in a statement shared along with the 2024 lineup announcement, “When we started Levitate, we wanted to celebrate this community through the uplifting power of creativity—it’s been incredible to see what has grown out of these local roots and we’re so excited to see this year’s event come to life.”
