According to a report from TMZ, Lil Wayne is getting in the sports management game. Following in the footsteps of rap mogul Jay-Z, Weezy is starting his own sports management company, and has his sights set on the Portuguese soccer phenom, Cristiano Ronaldo.
On a practical level, Lil Wayne’s company will be a part of PolarisSports, which currently employs Ronaldo’s current agent, Jorge Mendes. However, Lil Wayne and Ronaldo are friends, and Weezy will be handling all of Ronaldo’s business in the US.
While the deal is not yet confirmed, Ronaldo seems to be enthusiastic about his relationship with Lil Wayne. He posted the following photo after meeting with the Japanese Prime Minister, in which a bunch of Japanese politicians and people are holding up the “Young Money Cash Money Billionaire” sign.
