An all-star lineup of NOLA musicians, billed as OKTOBERFUNK, has been announced to play a special jam session at New Orleans venue Howlin’ Wolf on Saturday, October 8th. Confirmed to play so far is Galactic trombonist Corey Henry, Dumpstaphunk guitarist/bassist Tony Hall, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue guitarist Pete Murano, Rebelution/Dark Matter saxophonist Khris Royal, and drummer extraordinaire Simon Lott.

Khris Royal’s Dark Matter will also act as support on the evening, while additional special guests will be making their way down to the Wolf for what is sure to be one seriously funky NOLA throwdown during Columbus Day weekend. The show is going on during Oktoberfest, so prepare to go all out! It is NOLA after all. Anything goes.
