Today marks a sad chapter in music history, as the beloved R&B singer Prince passed away earlier today. As we continue to grieve over the loss of a legend, we turn to the healing power of music and explore a number of tributes performed by artists we love.

Kung Fu dedicated an entire set to Prince back in 2013 at The Big Up festival. At the time, the band included Rob Somerville, Tim Palmieri, Adrian Tramontano, Chris DeAngelis, and Todd Stoops. The set welcomed special guests Jans Ingber (The Motet) on lead vocals, Christine Tambakis on backing vocals, and Nick Biello on keyboard, and included Prince favorites “Let’s Go Crazy,” “Kiss,” “I Wanna Be Your Lover,” and of course, the party-rocker “1999.”
