Twenty years ago today, Phish played what has gone down as one of the best versions of “Free” ever. After an aborted “Rift” to start the second set at the USAir Arena in Landover, MD, the band dove into “Free” for a full thirty-three minutes, jamming every which way in a very exploratory effort.
