Last week, the ever-soulful Tedeschi Trucks Band brought their potent live show to Japan for a series of performances. For three nights, the band worked their way through the Asian country, spreading their musical love in the foreign land.

In fact, the group enjoyed themselves so much, they wrote a song called “I Love Japan” and debuted it during the final performance at the Nippon Budokan, in Tokyo, Japan, last Friday, April 1st. The energy at the show was simply electric, as the full set mixed in the band’s classics, newer songs from Made Up Mind, and some choice covers, including “Midnight In Harlem” and “With A Little Help From My Friends.”

Thanks to taper oira, we have full show audio from the final night, including the new song and all the goodies. Listen in below:

Be sure to catch TTB member Kofi Burbridge as part of the Earth Wind & Power tribute set to be played during Jazz Fest as a late night performance. Hosted by The Nth Power, the lineup features both Burbridge brothers, as well as Skerik, Natalie Cressman, James Casey, Jennifer Hartswick, Farnell Newton and more!
