Sixthman, the producer of various multi-day concert cruises, has announced the inaugural Live Loud Fest, set to sail from Miami, FL to Cozumel, Mexico on the Norwegian Jewel from November 4th–8th, 2025. The new event will assume the dates, vessel, itinerary, and much of the artist lineup of Michael Franti‘s Soulshine at Sea 3 cruise, which was canceled earlier this month amid apparent allegations that Franti had engaged in grooming and misconduct toward a young artist on one of his prior tours.

Per a press release from the promoter, which has long used “LIVE LOUD” as a tagline, “A once-in-a-lifetime celebration built to bring together like-minded people who live LOUD and crave connection, Live Loud Fest is all about community, energy, and shared passion. A non-stop schedule of events will encompass a diverse lineup of multi-genre musical artists, wellness experts, and so much more, highlighted by a Port Show Kick-Off Party at Port of Miami with 311, and with live performances from SOJA, Niko Moon, Allen Stone, Ripe, Hirie, Maggie Rose, The New Respects, Bombargo, Wheeland Brothers, Liz Vice, Ethan Tucker, The Ries Brothers, and Kristy Lee.

“In addition, Live Loud Fest will present an immersive array of exclusive experiences and special guests – including Gina Caputo (Yoga & Wellness Workshops), Colleen Schell (FabX Storytelling Workshops), QVLN & Sunshine Verda (Music Sets & HIIT Fitness), and Kate Mak (Yoga, Storytelling & Music), plus Headphone Disco Nightly Dance Parties presented by Shut Up & Dance!, DJ Soulman, Tattoos from Liberty Tattoo, and more – guaranteeing sure-to-be-treasured moments of inspirational bliss, personal enrichment, and human connection with fellow cruisers.”

Limited cabins will go on sale to the public at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 5th here. All cabins are being offered at a reduced rate, and all booked guests will receive a complimentary beverage package. As part of the Kids Sail for Less program, children 6 months to 14 years of age at time of sailing will be charged only taxes and fees when booked as third, fourth, or fifth guest, or receive a discount on their cabin fare if booked as the second guest.

The Norwegian Jewel will feature an array of amenities all cruisers including tasty dining experiences, the Pool Deck (with multiple hot tubs), the Jewel Club Casino, Mandara Spa, Body Waves Fitness Center, Sports Court, and more.

Beyond the onboard experience, attendees will have the chance to head out on an excursion in Cozumel, Mexico, renowned for fantastic fishing, snorkeling, and diving opportunities, and exploring historic Mayan ruins. Shore excursions will not be available until 4-6 weeks prior to sailing.

Live Loud Fest has partnered with MusiCares, an organization that helps the humans behind the music because music gives so much to the world. MusiCares supports the overall health and well-being of the music community through direct financial grant programs, networks of support resources, tailored crisis relief efforts, and more.

Sixthman‘s November 4th–8th, 2025 concert cruise was initially supposed to be Michael Franti’s Soulshine at Sea.

Earlier this month, Franti, the reggae-fusion artist and Spearhead bandleader best known for feel-good songs like 2008 hit single “Say Hey (I Love You)”, came under scrutiny after Victoria Canal, a young artist who toured with Franti in the late 2010s, shared the story of her experience being groomed and emotionally abused by an influential artist. Although she did not mention him by name, fans were quick to pinpoint Michael Franti as the subject of Canal’s account.

In the days that followed, several artists booked to perform on Soulshine at Sea—including Dispatch, HIRIE, and Maggie Rose—announced in posts of their own that they were dropping off the Soulshine at Sea lineup. On August 17th, Sixthman cited “recent events” when it canceled Soulshine at Sea outright, but added that it was “actively working to announce a new event that will sail November 4-8, 2025. …. As we communicated on Friday to booked guests, all guests will be offered options regarding their reservations, which include a full refund or future Sixthman credit. We appreciate your patience as we work behind the scenes to provide swift and clear information to our guests.”

Of note, many of the acts initially slated to perform on Soulshine at Sea have made the jump to the new Live Loud Fest lineup, including Allen Stone, Maggie Rose, HIRIE, The New Respects, Bombargo, Wheeland Brothers, Liz Vice, and Ethan Tucker in addition to several instructors on the event’s wellness workshop bill.

Franti later canceled the remainder of his planned 2025 headlining tour and issued a series of statements about the ongoing controversy. Read more about the ongoing controversy surrounding Michale Franti here.
