Earlier today, LOCKN’ announced the second artist on its 2018 lineup, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, following its first announcement yesterday that Dead & Company will be playing four headlining sets at the festival. Just now, the four-day festival surprised us all by dropping a second announcement today: Umphrey’s McGee will be performing three sets across the first two days of the event.
Per the schedule, Umphrey’s McGee will perform two headlining sets on Thursday, August 23rd, with one still-to-be-announced artist performing in between the Chicago-based jam outfit’s two sets. The following day, on Friday, August 24th, the group will perform its third and final set of the weekend ahead of two yet-to-be-announced headliners.
This year, LOCKN’ will go return to Arrington, VA’s Infinity Downs Farm from August 23 through 26. An act off the festival’s lineup will continue to be revealed daily until the final and complete bill is released on February 8th.
