On Saturday night, Louisiana State University played Brigham State University. The football game, initially scheduled to be played in Houston, was rescheduled to New Orleans’ Mercedes Benz Superdome following the destruction caused by Hurricane Harvey. LSU handily won Saturday’s game in their home state, with the LSU Tigers winning against the BSU Cougars 27 to 0. If you weren’t tuned into the game, however, you probably missed a special half-time moment, when the LSU marching band performed a tribute to the music of Louisiana and welcomed Big Sam of Big Sam’s Funky Nation to the field to perform with them. You can check out the half-time performance and tribute to the sounds of Louisiana below, courtesy of LSU Bands.
