Due to circumstances beyond organizers’ control, this year’s Luna Light Music and Arts Festival has been canceled. After three successful years, it appears that low advanced sales played a part in the decision to put this year’s event on hold—an issue that has not been uncommon in the festival world as of late. Luna Light was set to take place September 29th through 30th at Camp Ramblewood in Darlington, MD with a lineup featuring Cut Copy, Emancipator, Poolside, The Gaslamp Killer, Com Truise, and many more. Ticket purchases can be refunded at point of purchase, and online purchases will be automatically refunded via Ticketmaster.

Festival founder Joe DeAntonio had the following to say about Luna Light’s cancellation: “I started this event four years ago with one partner and a handful of dedicated staff and volunteers. Since then we have thrived, growing in size and creating something truly amazing. My love and gratitude goes out to everyone who has shown undying support since the beginning, and everyone who’s jumped on board over the years. Without all of your continuous love and support my vision would not have been possible. It’s been a wild and interesting ride.”

Festival organizer Justin Berger also shared his thoughts: “If you truly support an event within your musical community, don’t wait to show your love. As we’ve seen a lot this year, these events simply cannot happen without early ticket purchasers. The amount of hard work and love for this event for the past four years is incredible, and I truly thank all for the encouragement we’ve had throughout this journey.”
