The Flaming Lips and Mac DeMarco are teaming up in the middle of September through the beginning of October for a number of co-headlined U.S. tour dates. The eight dates for the coheadlined fall tour run from September 17th, kicking things off in St. Paul, Minnesota, through to October 5th, ending in Phoenix, Arizona. During the two week period, the two acts will head east across the midwest, eventually hitting Niagara Falls, New York, before moving onto three Texas dates and then their final Phoenix performance.

DeMarco’s shows are part of an extensive world tour in support of his new album This Old Dog, which included last weekend’s Coachella dates and that will continue through to the end of November, eventually ending the tour in Amsterdam. The Flaming Lips are also on tour in support of a new LP Oczy Mlody, though their tour will terminate with the shared dates with DeMarco. You can check out both acts’ touring schedules below, as well as listen to new singles off their latest projects below, with the Flaming Lips releasing “There Should Be Unicorns” in early March and DeMarco releasing “On The Level” last week.
