Colorado jam mainstays Magic Beans have shared footage of the band’s raucous and raging, guest-filled Magic Beans & Friends Phish Dick’s after-party at Denver’s Cervantes’ Masterpiece Ballroom featuring members of Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, The Jauntee, and The High Hawks.
Presented by Live For Live Music and Cervantes’, the funk-filled festivities were part of a dual-room takeover of Cervantes’ and the Other Side, where DJ Airwolf was on the decks, with audience members free to move back and forth between the two venues. In partnership with Backline, the music industry’s leading mental health resource, Magic Beans donated $1 from every ticket sold to support the band’s longtime friend, Tyler Gwynn, as he biked 236 miles from Aspen to Cervantes’ for the show in support of mental health.
Among the surprise guests who joined Magic Beans were Jeremy Schon (Pigeons Playing Ping Pong), Tyler Adams (The Jauntee), Nicholas Gerlach, Will Trask (The High Hawks).
