Last year, The Main Squeeze — a band melding soulful funk with rock n’ roll — relocated from their hometown of Chicago to the bustling city of Los Angeles, CA. Initially heading to the West Coast to record their latest album, Without A Sound, the City of Angels so completely inspired their creative process that they decided to make a permanent change. Frontman Corey Frye on vocals and guitarist Max Newman on guitar, the band includes Ben “Smiley” Silverstein (keyboards), Rob Walker (bass) and Reuben Gingrich (drums) are still soaring from the release of this year’s album, and have shared the studio video for their cover of “War Pigs” by Black Sabbath. The quintet’s talents shine through on this video, as they bring their new school vibe to an old school track.

This fall, Without A Sound will be available as a limited-run LP release. To celebrate the coming vinyl pressing, The Main Squeeze will embark on the 2nd leg of their Without A Sound tour in late September, concluding with a two-night New Year’s Eve run at The Mint on December 30 & 31. Tickets are available here. Please find a full list of dates below.
