The Marcus King Band has announced the dates for the Carolina Confessions Tour, which will bring them across much of the United States and Europe this summer and fall. The outing—which shares its name with the title of MKB’s forthcoming album—will kick off on July 31st, just one day after the group opens for Tedeschi Trucks Band at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre.
Led by 22-year-old singer, songwriter and guitarist Marcus King, the band will get started at Slowdown in Omaha, NE, on July 31st. The next two months will find them performing at venues throughout the United States, including festivals like Hot August, Big Blues Bender, Werk Out, and Telluride Blues & Brews. The European leg of the Carolina Confessions Tour will begin at La Cigale in Paris on October 10th. The run will feature additional stops in France as well as shows in Italy, Switzerland, Germany, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom.
Tickets for the Carolina Confessions Tour will go on sale to the general public on Friday, May 11th. Pre-sale tickets will be available on Wednesday, May 9th.
