Margo Price has shared an inspiring and dramatic new video for “I’d Die For You (Synthphonic)”, an alternative take on a new original song pulled from her latest studio album, 2020’s That’s How Rumors Get Started.

The video for the emotional ballad takes viewers through various landscapes–both dark and light–as she sings out the heartfelt lyrics for the song. A statement from Price shared with the video’s arrival on Wednesday reads, “This song began as a hymn between my husband, our children and our lives together. as we cling to each other through the chaos, sometimes it feels like the world is crumbling all around us… gentrification, racism, gun violence, climate change, the lack of healthcare in a pandemic and the outcome of an election that I can’t control. it’s become a song of hope and a hymn for our broken country. I love you America.”
