UPDATE [Sun 10/1/17 – 5:40pm EDT]: Following the injury in NYC, Manson has postponed the next 9 dates on his ongoing tour to allow him time to heal up in his LA home. Details about the rescheduled dates will be announced shortly. We wish Manson a speedy recovery!

It’s been quite a precarious week on tour for Marilyn Manson. Last night, Manson’s performance at New York City’s Hammerstein Ballroom was cut short after a large stage prop depicting two pistols crossed at the barrels fell on the mercurial singer, pinning him to the floor. Manson was performing his cover of the Eurythmics’ “Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)” at the time of the incident. The concert was subsequently cancelled, and Manson was rushed to seek medical attention. A rep for Manson told Variety, “Manson suffered an injury towards the end of an incredible NYC show. He is being treated at a local hospital.”

Fan-shot video shows Manson attempting to climb the giant guns prop before accidentally pulling it down on top of himself.

This incident comes just one day after he reportedly “broke his ankle” onstage during a performance in Pittsburgh.

The concert was the third stop on a world tour for Mr. Manson, whose 10th studio album, Heaven Upside Down, is scheduled to be released on Friday. Manson has yet to comment on the incident, or how it will affect his upcoming tour dates. Manson is scheduled to perform at Boston, MA’s House of Bluetomorrow night, October 2nd. We hope Manson is okay and fully healed up soon!
