Mark Wahlberg has had an extraordinary career, but devoted fans will remember that Marky Mark was involved with the creation of New Kids On The Block in the beginning of their career. While Mark’s stint in the band was only temporary, his brother Donnie Wahlberg has remained with the group to this day. Meanwhile, Mark Wahlberg founded the band Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch, a group that enjoyed a brief moment in the spotlight in the early 1990s, with an album produced by Donnie.

Considering their shared history, it’s surprising that the Wahlberg brothers have yet to reunite, together, with NKOTB. That all changed last night at Madison Square Garden, when Marky Mark made an unannounced appearance during the second night of NKOTB’s two-night Block Party event. With TLC, Nelly and more in the building, Mark Wahlberg appeared on stage with NKOTB for the first time since 1995.

The band has shared footage from the moment, which you can see below:

In case you’re looking for some more nostalgia, this 90’s Festival was just announced last week.
