Matisyahu has announced a very special July 4th show surrounding the “Fare Thee Well” Grateful Dead reunion concerts. After the Dead show is over on the 4th, City Winery Chicago will play host to the one of a kind Matisyahu and Friends concert.
Who are the friends, you say? Joining Matisyahu will be Aaron Dugan, Rob Marscher and Tim Keiper, along with special guests Marc Brownstein (Disco Biscuits), Chris Chew (North Mississippi Allstars, The Word), and DJ Logic.
The show is part of the ongoing “Weir World” celebration at City Winery Chicago, which actually kicks off on June 30th and runs through July 5th. Matisyahu’s show is a midnight performance, so who knows what will happen? Tickets are available here.
