Twin brother jazz duo the Mattson 2 has announced their plans for a full headlining tour set for early next year. The group spent much of the latter half of 2019 on tour with Marco Benevento in support of their sophomore studio album, Paradise.

The nationwide tour will take the brothers through 34 cities with scheduled performances at One Eyed Jacks in New Orleans, LA (2/14); Rough Trade in Brooklyn, NY (2/22); Basement in Nashville, TN (3/4); the Echo in Los Angeles, CA (3/20); Lost Lake in Denver, CO (3/27); and Sunset in Seattle, WA (4/22), to name a few.

The Mattson 2 are steadily blossoming into one of the more notable jazz acts within the scene. The duo comprised of twin brothers Jared (guitar) and Jonathan Mattson (drums) blend the groove and ease of psychedelia with the intense complexity of jazz. It’s no wonder Khruangbin selected the brothers as their main tour support in the spring of 2018.
