While we certainly live for live music, The Meadows’ food vendor lineup is particularly appealing, differentiating it from other festivals where pretzels and fair food tend to be the norm. This year, the festival is playing host to two special food vendor areas—Infatuation Village, curated by the food review site The Infatuation, and FEASTival of Queens, a selection of diverse fare curated by well-known Queens food writer, Joe DiStefano. With food provided by some of the best restaurants around town and offering tastes of cuisines the world over, The Meadows’ food selection in and of itself is a draw, particularly for the many foodies who frequently may find festival food lacking.
