New Medeski Martin & Wood Documentary, ‘Not Not Jazz’, Set To Premiere At Woodstock Film Festival

A new documentary chronicling jazz-fusion trio Medeski Martin & Wood, Not Not Jazz, is set to premiere at the Woodstock Film Festival in New York’s Hudson Valley region. Directed by Jason Miller, Not Not Jazz will be screened at Woodstock’s Bearsville Theater on Friday, October 4th and Rhinebeck’s Upstate Films on Saturday, October 5th.

The forthcoming documentary focuses on John Medeski, Billy Martin, and Chris Wood‘s recent studio album session at Shokan, NY’s Allaire Studios. Martin and Miller will partake in a Q&A at the Bearsville Theater screening along with a solo drum performance by Billy.
