Hard rock veterans Megadeth and Lamb Of God will team up for a 55-date run of shows this summer.

Announced on Monday, the co-headlining summer tour to be presented by SiriusXM Radio will also include special guests Trivium and In Flames to perform at every date. The tour begins on June 12th with a show in Bristow, VA and continues for just under two months before wrapping in Concord, CA on August 1st.

SiriusXM’s involvement in the tour should mean the satellite radio broadcasting giant will be streaming most, if not all of the performances of the summer run on one of its rock channels.

The tour’s announcement comes after Megadeth guitarist Dave Mustaine revealed he was cancer-free during a London performance earlier this month. The 58-year-old had initially shared his throat cancer diagnosis with his fans last June.

Lamb of God is also scheduled to perform at Welcome To Rockville in Daytona Beach, FL the weekend of May 8th-10th.

“The world has never needed heavy more than it does today and top to bottom, this tour delivers!” Lamb of God’s Mark Morton said about the upcoming run in a statement. “Lamb Of God has toured with and been friends with all of these bands for years, but for all of us to be on the same bill is something extra special. Come early and stay late. This is THE metal tour of the year.”

Tickets go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m. local time here. Scroll down for the full listing of tour dates.
