As the countdown to Summer Camp Music Festival dwindles, a new late-night set announcement has added yet another reason for excitement among a lineup that already looks like one of the strongest of the season. On the festival’s first night, Friday, May 26th, Umphrey’s McGee’s Kris Myers and Ryan Stasik and Mike Gatnzer of Aqueous will hit the Soulshine Tent late-night for a tribute to Green Day‘s 1994 pop-punk classic Dookie, as well as “other rock music.”
With performances from moe., Umphrey’s McGee, Trey Anastasio Band, Pretty Lights Live, Primus, Gov’t Mule, Mike Gordon, the Disco Biscuits, Run The Jewels, The Claypool Lennon Delirium, Aqueous, The Main Squeeze, The Marcus King Band, Turkuaz, Spafford, The Werks, Mungion, and more already on the docket, the newly announced Dookie set is just one more reason why Summer Camp is a can’t-miss this year.
Summer Camp Music Festival is set to take place May 26th – 28th in Chillicothe, IL. For more information, head to the festival’s website.
