Mick Jagger and Martin Scorsese have teamed up to produce a series based on the 1970s music scene in New York. The HBO series will feature Boardwalk Empire’s Bobby Cannavale as the lead, with Boardwalk creator and Sopranos writer Terence Winter operating behind the scenes.

The show will explore the drug- and sex- fueled music business of New York in the 1970s as a record executive (Cannavale) searches for the next new sound to save his label.

Other cast members include Olivia Wilde, Andrew Dice Clay and Ray Romano.
