Next Wednesday, members of Turkuaz, Too Many Zooz, High & Mighty Brass Band, and more will come together to jam on stage while raising money for various charitable causes at New York City’s Brooklyn Bowl.

Dubbed, “A Midsummer Night’s Jam For The People,” the mid-week event will feature a mix of performances from The Fatties, Shira Elias (Turkuaz), Matt Doe (Too Many Zooz), Sasha Brown (formerly Sister Sparrow & The Dirty Birds), Evan Howard and Chauncy Yearword (High & Mighty Brass Band), Nadav Nirenberg (Ikebe Shakedown), Aaron Rockers (Kat Wright), Peter Sparacino (Orkestra Eustoria), Victor Cornette (Ether), Eden Simone, Scott Moses (Clyde), Seth Ben-Yishay (Rolling Stoned), and the live debut of Togetherness Orchestra.

Proceeds from the one-night event, which returns for its second year in a row at the suggestion of Brooklyn Bowl owner Pete Shapiro, will go to benefit the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, Harmony Heals, Little Kids Rock, and Roots of Music (Derrick Tabb of Rebirth Brass Band’s kids music school in New Orleans).
