Milwaukee, WI’s long-running Summerfest will return in September 2021 with a characteristically loaded lineup. The September event comes after Summerfest canceled its 2020 festival and postponed its July 2021 target dates to the fall.
Summerfest, presented by American Family Insurance, has evolved into what is now recognized as “The World’s Largest Music Festival” and Milwaukee’s cornerstone summer celebration, hosting the music industry’s biggest acts, emerging talent, and local favorites along with approximately 750,000 fans, for an unforgettable live music experience.
The 53rd edition of the festival will take place over three consecutive weekends (Thu–Sat), September 2nd–4th, 9th–11th, and 16th–18th, with music running from noon to midnight each day. Summerfest features over 1,000 performances on 11 stages, along with food, beverages, and activities, all in a world-class festival setting.
The festival’s headliners comprise the lineup at the de facto “main stage” at American Family Insurance Amphitheater (separate ticket required) including a mix of newly announced and rescheduled performances. New headliner announcements include Chance the Rapper (September 3rd with 24kGoldn), Jonas Brothers (September 8th), Zac Brown Band (September 10th with Gabby Barrett), and Miley Cyrus (September 17th). Rescheduled headliner dates include Luke Bryan (September 2nd with Dylan Scott), Chris Stapleton (September 9 with Sheryl Crow), and Dave Matthews Band (September 15, announced as part of his national summer tour).
Other artists set to perform on the various Summerfest stages in September 2021 include Run The Jewels, Wilco, Diplo, Pixies, ZZ Top, Fitz and the Tantrums, Dirty Heads, Bleachers, DJ Diesel (Shaquille O’Neal), Black Pumas, 311, Flo Rida, Goo Goo Dolls, T-Pain, REO Speedwagon, Greensky Bluegrass, O.A.R., Nelly, Tank and the Bangas, Turkuaz ft. Jerry Harrison and Adrian Belew (Remain in Light), Styx, George Thorogood & The Destroyers, Drive-By Truckers, The Psychedelic Furs, Indigo Girls, Blackberry Smoke, Jade Bird, Better Than Ezra, Ani DiFranco, Tower of Power, Sheila E., Galactic, Living Colour, and many more.

Previously purchased tickets for concerts at the American Family Insurance Amphitheater during Summerfest will be honored for the rescheduled dates. Refunds will be available from the original point of purchase, 30 days from the announcement of the rescheduled dates.
