When moe. and TAUK share the Stone Pony Summer Stage in Asbury Park, NJ, jam fans will be taking notice. Older and newer generations will come together for what is sure to be an out-of-this-world throwdown concert on Sunday, August 9th.

It all starts with TAUK, the Long Island, NY native band that somehow bridges funk, electronica, and rock into one tight and dynamic sound. With all instrumental compositions, the band relies solely on their musicianship and compositional skills, and the result is staggering. This band is not funking around, they’re the real deal. If their 2014 album Collisions is any indication, TAUK is only getting bigger and better as they continue to perform.

Meanwhile, moe. has been a staple of the jam band scene for decades. The group has been celebrating their 25th anniversary in 2015, touring rigorously on the heels of their acclaimed 2014 release, No Guts, No Glory. Between cross-country touring and celebrated festival appearances, moe. certainly isn’t showing any signs of aging. On the contrary, like a fine wine, moe. grows tighter and more exciting as they continue to bring their fun-loving, high-energy music on the road.

When these two bands get together, there’s no telling what’s going to happen. Especially at the beautiful Stone Pony Summer Stage in Asbury Park, NJ, is there any better way to spend a warm August evening?
