After wrapping up a major three-night stand in New York, jam stalwarts moe. have some more tricks up their sleeves. The band has just announced a big three-night run in Portland, ME from June 16-18, bringing along a number of special guests for the occasion.
As with previous three-night runs, moe. will spend the first night at an intimate venue before opening things up for Friday and Saturday night shows. The opening night will be held at Port City Music Hall, before shuffling over to the outdoor Thompson’s Point for two more shows. The Friday, June 17th show will feature support from The Wood Brothers and Cabinet, while Saturday’s showing will feature Twiddle and Percy Hill.
Twiddle and moe. teamed up for the Lake Champlain Vermont Maritime Festival last year, which saw some major sit-in action during both bands performances. While it seems that Twiddle has taken over the Lake Champlain festival spot with their new “Tumble Down” event at the venue from July 29-30, these shows will give New Englanders a chance to revisit that magic.
