In honor of Neil Young’s 70th birthday, moe. took a moment to debut a brand new cover: “Rockin’ In The Free World”. Not only was it the day after Young’s 70th, but the opening band of the show was none other than Lukas Nelson & The Promise of the Real, the group that recently recorded The Monsanto Years album and toured with Young earlier this year.
Watch as Lukas Nelson joins moe. (who already had guest keyboardist Nate Wilson in the fold) for their debut performance of “Rockin’ In The Free World” below:
The full setlist also included the debut performance of “Bell Bottom Blues”, the Derek And The Dominos classic.
