2015 marked the 25th year of moe., and the band celebrated their Silver Anniversary in style. Playing intimate runs nationwide, moe. donned their silver suits one last time to ring in the New Year. The group opened with “Defrost” and got to work in the first set, playing fan-favorites like “Akimbo,” “Y.O.Y.,” and “Timmy Tucker.” The set-closer, “Don’t Fuck With Flo,” continued to bring the energy to a peak at the beautiful Palace Theater in Albany, NY.
After a five-song second set that included “Happy Hour Hero” and “Buster,” the band rang in the New Year with Pink Floyd’s “Time” and “Breathe.” The band then integrated “Auld Lang Syne” with the classic “Jump Around,” before grooving into more fan favorites like “Billy Goat”, from the new No Guts, No Glory album, as wel as “meat.,” “Brent Black” and “Wind It Up.”
Pulling out all the stops, moe. went acoustic for their encore, coming back for a final performance of The Talking Heads’ “This Must Be The Place (Naive Melody).” What a show!
