With all of the recent media attention surrounding popular rave drug Molly, a local NBC News affiliate decided to send a couple of (barely) undercover reporters to TomorrowWorld to in Atlanta to see how easy it was to obtain the drug. What did they find? I’m not really sure.

They said that while nobody would admit to taking the drug, they saw many people taking little white baggies out of cigarette cases and pockets. However, for some reason, they failed to show any of that happening on camera.

They spoke to a few ravers – one kid, decked out in bracelets, explained that molly was “very easy to get in a place like this”. Another, who seemed really, really fucked up, said something about acid and mushrooms, and said that, had he seen an ‘amnesty bin’ (which was supposed to be a bin where attendees could dispose of drugs without consequence), he would have thrown away his drugs.

The news station seemed really upset that the ‘amnesty bin’ was nowhere to be found. There were hundreds of ‘amnesty bins’ – they’re called garbages. Anyone can throw out drugs into a garbage, or a toilet, or the floor, at any time, without the fear of getting in trouble. I don’t understand why there is a need for an ‘amnesty bin’ in the first place, but TomorrowWorld did actually come up with this ridiculous idea, as it is clearly stated in the festival’s general rules:

Before you enter the festival ground or campsite it will be possible for you to dispose of any drugs you may have in special drug amnesty bins, without any further consequences.

At the end of the report, the consensus was that there was Molly at festivals? I think. I don’t know, but they claimed that TomorrowWorld has yet to respond to a series of questions, so there’s that. However, with only 17 medical transports and 3 arrests out of 140,000+ people, the festival must have been doing something right.  You can watch the report below.
