Anyone attending this year’s Moogfest will get a chance to relive a piece of music history, as the iconic synthesizer brand has revealed plans to reissue the classic Minimoog Model D. The first publicly-available Minimoog instrument was used heavily throughout the 1970’s, and will be manufactured for custom orders on site at Moogfest in North Carolina.
While the brand doesn’t seem to have any plans for a larger release, fans are able enjoy this short “making-of” clip in celebration of the Minimoog’s return.
