Mungion is on their first-ever headlining tour this winter, with their energetic live show set to hit 18 cities throughout the Midwest, the Southeast, and the Northeast. Since their inception in Spring of 2015, the Chicago-based four-piece has quickly made a name for themselves as rising stars of the improvised music landscape. Composed of Justin Reckamp (guitar/vocals), Joe Re (keyboards/vocals), Sean Carolan (bass/vocals) and Matt Kellen (drums/vocals), the band is rooted in their ambitious compositions and improvisational abilities, offering up a raucous and joyous sound that’s guaranteed to have you smiling ear-to-ear and leave you wanting more.
On Wednesday, February 21st, Mungion will bring their tour to the famous Knitting Factory, located in the Williamsburg-area of Brooklyn, NY. The show will mark Mungion’s second appearance in Brooklyn, after a high-profile opening slot for Spafford at the Music Hall of Williamsburg back in April 2017. Joining Mungion at Knitting Factory will be local upstarts Of Clocks And Clouds. The self-proclaimed “psychedelic electronic rock group” will grace the stage for a raucous opening set.
