My Morning Jacket has shared a new video for their song “Outta My System” which will be featured on the Outta My System EP set to be released on August 7th. The animated video was directed by James Frost, who has directed videos by both Radiohead and Coldplay, and features Zach Galifanakis as the wizard. The video appeared on both VEVO and Pitchfork.
Dave Sitek from TV on the Radio, and Ernest Greene (aka Washed Out) both have remixes on the album, which will also include the song “Friends Again” which appeared on the limited 7” which was released this past December.
MMJ will be playing Williamsburg Park in Brooklyn on Sunday, August 19th. Opening the show will be Shabazz Palaces. For tickets, click here .
