From Phish’s annual Madison Square Garden run to Galactic at Tipitina’s in New Orleans and jam staples nationwide, nugs’ holiday programming offers something for every corner of the scene.
The run-up to New Year’s Eve will feature livestreams, subscriber-exclusive events, on-demand videos, and audio drops from Phish, The Disco Biscuits, Umphrey’s McGee, Oteil & Friends, Jon Cleary & The Absolute Monster Gentlemen, Dark Star Orchestra, Dogs In A Pile, and more—bringing one of the most exciting weeks of the live music calendar directly to fans at home. Phish will once again anchor the New Year’s season with its annual four-night run at Madison Square Garden, beginning Sunday, December 28th, with a 7:30 p.m. ET start. All four nights of the MSG run will be available to stream live on nugs, with fans able to order HD or 4K livestreams for individual shows or the full four-night pass. Starting Monday, December 29th, The Disco Biscuits will bring their signature trance-fusion sound to Boston for a three-night run. Night one features a special Tractorbeam show at The Sinclair, followed by normal shows on December 30th at Royale and New Year’s Eve at Roadrunner.
December 30th brings a stacked night of livestreams across the country. Jon Cleary & The Absolute Monster Gentlemen will perform from Tipitina’s in New Orleans, delivering their trademark blend of funk, soul, and Crescent City groove.
The same night will mark the beginning of Umphrey’s McGee’s two-night New Year’s Eve stand at The Tabernacle in Atlanta, before the band darts off to Chicago’s The Salt Shed for a pair of shows with Andy Frasco on January 2nd and 3rd (also streaming on nugs).
Dogs In A Pile will also take the stage to kick off a two-night run at the Bearsville Theater in Woodstock, NY, with both December 30th and December 31st performances available to stream.
To cap off a jam-packed year of live music, nugs will feature an all-star slate of New Year’s Eve livestreams. Dark Star Orchestra will ring in 2026 with a performance at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY, while Oteil & Friends take over The Parker in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The Oteil & Friends lineup includes Jason Crosby, Johnny Kimock, Tom Guarna, Lamar Williams Jr., and Jaden Lehman for a celebration steeped in improvisation and deep groove.
New Orleans will once again host late-night festivities with Galactic’s New Year’s Eve celebration at Tipitina’s. Additional New Year’s Eve streams include Umphrey’s McGee and Dogs In A Pile, giving fans plenty of options to soundtrack the countdown to midnight.
