Phish appeared on Late Show with David Letterman last night, playing a spot on the show’s traditional closing segment in promotion of their new album, Fuego. (Read the review here.) You can watch their performance of “The Line” on Late Show here:

The band also played an hour-long set to an exclusive audience at the Ed Sullivan Theater, as part of the web series “Live on Letterman.” The recently-started series features full sets from certain musical guests who appear on Late Show with David Letterman, allowing for bands to play more songs and for CBS to increase their web content.

For their full set, the band performed a mixture of new Fuego tunes with old classics, Phish delivered a brief taste of what to expect for their upcoming summer tour. You can watch the full set, via CBS.com. (For some reason, the video shows the performance three times over)

The Phish tour is scheduled to begin on July 1st, with shows from July 3-5 in Saratoga Springs and July 11-13 in New York City. You can catch the Everyone Orchestra Phish pre-party in Saratoga Springs on July 2nd, and a pre-Phish July 4th BBQ with Z3, FiKus, and The Jauntee just minutes from the venue.

And don’t miss our Band of Gypsies after-party on July 13th at BB King’s, featuring the music of Jimi Hendrix as performed by Roosevelt Collier, Jennifer Hartswick, Ron Johnson, and Adam Deitch!
