Nicki Bluhm was supposed to embark on her The Beat Goes On Tour back in the spring, on which the singer would have delivered her interpretations of music made famous by Cher on a nightly basis. With the cancellation of all live events starting in mid-March, Bluhm was forced to pivot and turn her planned live performances into that of a virtual album, entitled, The Beat Goes On: Nicki Bluhm Sings Cher.
On Tuesday, Bluhm announced the virtual album will premiere this Friday, November 13th. The musical film directed by Jesse Noah Wilson will air for free (donations are encouraged) starting at 9 p.m. ET via Bluhm’s YouTube, Facebook, and Twitch pages.
Additionally, Bluhm will perform the songs featured on the visual album from The 5 Spot in Nashville, TN on November 21st. The ticketed virtual performance will begin at 9 p.m. ET. Click here for ticket info.
