Last month, Live for Live Music put out an article about the Nile Rodgers Dance Party (which is a benefit for AFTEE.org) happening Monday, August 19th at the Martha Clara Vineyards in Riverhead, New York (read the original article here).

If you weren’t excited enough at the original announcement to go and immediately purchase tickets (and with all profits going to Aftee it’s going to a good cause), Nile Rodgers has announced some new information to get attendees pumped for the concert. In a recent interview, Rodgers (who, besides his claim to fame in the original era of disco with CHIC, had a hand in co-writing one of the summer’s biggest hits, “Get Lucky by Daft Punk) has let slip that Avicii will be performing at next week’s event.

The line-up for the festival on Aftee’s official site has Adam Lambert, Chromeo, Russell Peters,Mystery Skulls and Prince Paul, Plus Very Special Guest DJ (now known as Avicii).

Tickets can be purchased at the official site, with all proceeds going to benefit AFTEE (All For The East End), “a unique charitable organization focused solely on raising money for the nonprofits that make the East End of Long Island such a great place to live.” Follow this link to get more information.
