Northlands Music & Arts Festival will return to Swanzey, NH on June 19th, 20th, and 21st, 2026 for its fifth year [get tickets].
The 2026 edition of Northlands, a fast-growing mainstay of the Northeast’s summer music festival calendar, will feature headlining performances by nationally touring Grateful Dead tribute project Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, popular reggae-rock-hip-hop outfit Dirty Heads, and newly retooled tracefusion outfit The Disco Biscuits.
The bill also includes witty alt hip‑hop duo Little Stranger; rowdy Northlands veterans Andy Frasco & The U.N.; ever-rising jam quintet Dogs In A Pile; jamtronica favorite Lotus; progressive bluegrass staple Yonder Mountain String Band; former Twiddle guitarist Mihali alongside his full band; all‑women funk powerhouse Super Sonic Shorties; cosmic instrumental voyagers Circles Around the Sun; and a rare appearance by avant-rock trio The Slip.
Rounding out the 2026 Northlands Music & Arts Festival Lineup are Jennifer Hartswick Band, MoonTricks, Ghost-Note, Dizgo, Magoo, Night Zero, Hayley Jane Band, Annie in the Water, Squerv, and Caylin Costello, along with Kanika Moore, who will serve as an artist-at-large in addition to performing her own set with Kanika Moore & The Brown Eyed Bois (featuring members of The Psycodelics). Additional artists are due to be added to the lineup as the event approaches.
“Independent festivals are such an important part of the live music ecosystem, but they are a dying breed nationally,” said festival co-founder Seth McNally in a statement. “We’re throwing the biggest party of the year, in a thoughtful way that feels like you’re coming home. Year after year loyal fans come back and support live music. Let’s keep the dream alive.”
Set in the picturesque hills of New Hampshire, Northlands is known for its breathtaking sunsets, communal energy, and thoughtfully curated lineups showcasing the diverse and thriving contemporary jam band scene. Fans of all ages can explore an eclectic vendor village of local artisans, plus food and beverage vendors, in addition to enjoying wellness offerings, live muralists, and art installations.
This year, Northlands is expanding camping options with the addition of a new Sunset Ridge car camping area close to the stages, allowing campers to easily return to their home bases between sets. The Campground Stage will also remain the focal point of Northlands after dark, showcasing some of the best and brightest artists from the Northeast and beyond. The 2026 Campground Stage lineup will be announced at a later date.
“Northlands has all the amenities of a big festival, but its boutique size and smaller capacity invite warmth — where the crowd feels like family, the experience feels personal, and the weekend of shared connection creates lifetime memories,” explained festival producer Jennifer Meyerhardt in a statement.
