Returning for their 15th straight year, the fine folks of Northwest String Summit have announced a kick-ass lineup for their 2016 festivities. Taking place in Horning’s Hideout in North Plains, OR from July 14-17, the festival previously announced three nights of Yonder Mountain String Band, as well as Greensky Bluegrass (x2), Railroad Earth, Leftover Salmon (x2), The Infamous Stringdusters (x2), in addition to Cabinet (x2), Fruition (x2), Keller Williams with More Than A Little, Keller Williams’ Grateful Gospel, and so many more!

Today’s announcement rounds out the top-notch bill with Portland-based March Fourth! Marching Band, an ironic addition with today’s date, who will be providing an “over-the-top experience and spectacle of more than 20 highly talented musicians, stilt walkers, hoopers, and Vaudeville-style dancers that will no doubt ‘pop up’ all weekend long,” according to the Festival’s Facebook post.

In addition, lots of NWSS newcomers and local favorites will be joining the weekend, with performances from Della Mae, Larry & Jenny Keel, Scott Law, Sideboob, World’s Finest, and Lil’ Smokies. Yak Attack & Friends, Annalisa Tornfelt & The Tornfelt Sisters, Jon Stickley Trio, Ragged Union, King Cardinal, The Absynth Quartet, One Grass Two Grass, and many more round out an exciting 2016 lineup for Northwest String Summit.
