[UPDATE 9/4/24]: Following a predictably chaotic on-sale that left many fans ticketless and recalled Taylor Swift‘s The Eras Tour pre-sale meltdown, Oasis has added two new shows at Wembley Stadium. Tickets for the September 27th and 28th shows in London will be available exclusively via invitation to those fans shut out of the previous on-sale.

These new concerts will arrive at the end of the announced Oasis reunion run, which now includes 19 concerts in five cities across three countries. The band will play previously-announced, sold-out shows at Wembley on July 25th, 26th, and 27th, while there has been widespread speculation that the group will also add shows in North America and elsewhere. See below for a full list of Oasis tour dates and scroll down for further information on the reunion.

In a parallel storyline to the U.S., the U.K. government has pledged to investigate Ticketmaster‘s use of “dynamic pricing” following the Oasis on-sale. Those lucky few fans who were able to purchase tickets after hours of waiting—less than 5% of users, according to estimates—were met with prices two to three times higher than face value. One such customer was Leader of the House of Commons Lucy Powell, who said she paid twice the cost of an original ticket.

Following the Eras Tour pre-sale fiasco, the U.S. Department of Justice launched an antitrust investigation into Live Nation Entertainment, the company formed by the 2010 merger of ticketing giant Ticketmaster and production company/venue operator Live Nation. Earlier this year, the Justice Department filed an antitrust lawsuit against Live Nation and called for the breakup of the world’s largest live entertainment company. The lawsuit has yet to be resolved.

[8/27/24]: “This is it, this is happening,” a Tuesday morning post from Oasis decrees: After 15 years of brotherly bickering between Noel and Liam Gallagher, many rounds of fruitless speculation, and a few days of “this actually might happen” anticipation, the long-defunct Britpop heroes have confirmed a run of reunion shows in the U.K. and Ireland set for the summer of 2025 [ticketing info].

The tour is due to begin in Wales with a pair of shows at Cardiff Principality Stadium on July 4th and 5th, 2025. Oasis will head from there to Manchester, England for four shows at Manchester Heaton Park on July 11th, 12th, 16th, 19th, and 20th, respectively. Next, the reunion run will hit London’s Wembley Stadium on July 25th, 26th, 30th, and August 2nd–3rd ahead of a two-night stand at Edinburgh, Scotland’s Edinburgh Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium on August 8th, 9th, and 12th and a pair of performances at Dublin, Ireland’s Croke Park on August 16th and 17th.

Tickets for all 17 Oasis reunion concerts will go on sale beginning this Saturday, August 31st (🇮🇪8AM IST / 🇬🇧9AM BST). For ticketing information, head here.

Following the announcement, many fans noticed a gap in the reunion tour during next year’s Glastonbury Festival. Though the band noted that “These dates will be the band’s exclusive European appearances,” many fans speculated Oasis would headline the U.K.’s most prominent annual music festival. The band quashed those theories, however, when it definitively stated, “Despite media speculation, Oasis will not be playing Glastonbury 2025 or any other festivals next year. The only way to see the band perform will be on their Oasis Live ’25 World Tour.”

The famously cantankerous Gallagher brothers initially rocketed to fame at the forefront of the Britpop movement following the release of their 1994 debut album, Definitely Maybe. They have not performed together since tensions between them came to a head during a backstage brawl at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris in 2009, resulting in the band’s breakup. Fans have dreamed of a reunion ever since, but the odds seemed slim as both brothers have continued on to pursue successful solo careers—and throw public jabs at each other in the media.
