Following the second night of this month’s time-travel-themed Pretty Lights Halloween weekend run at Las Vegas, NV’s MGM Grand on Saturday, October 26th, the party will continue with an official after party at The Portal at AREA15 featuring performances by Tycho (DJ set), Sol, Flying Mojito Bros, and more [get tickets].
After Pretty Lights transports fans forward along the timeline to the futuristic sounds of 3033 (on 10/25) and winds back the clocks to 1996 for a celebration of ’90s rave culture (on 10/26), fans will have the opportunity to land safely in another dimension entirely with this curated late-night soiree.

AREA15, the immersive, 300,000 square foot entertainment complex minutes from the Las Vegas Strip, will play host to the late-night dance party, allowing attendees to explore its many otherworldly nooks and crannies on their way into the show. The performances will take place inside AREA15’s The Portal, a mesmerizing event space outfitted with 360-degree projection-mapped walls. In addition to the chillwave, ambient, IDM, downtempo soundscapes conjured by headliner Tycho, Sol, and Flying Mojito Bros, the after-midnight event will also feature a set by a surprise guest DJ.

Pretty Lights, the electro-soul producer project-turned-experimental electronic live band, has been touring the country throughout the summer and into the fall on its Soundship Spacesystem 2024 Check Your Vector Tour. Last month, Pretty Lights used the announcement of the Las Vegas Halloween weekend run’s time-travel themes to send fans on a multi-platform treasure hunt complete with riddles, hidden messages, and hotline extensions hidden in a promotional video. Sleuths were rewarded at the end of the trail with a new, five-song EP, Dual Fusion Unity, embedded in a throwback WinAmp player that allows you to live-mix the tracks as you listen.
While fans were quick to solve that series of puzzles and access the new music, certain elements of the stylized game remain a mystery—with clues that seem to point toward new developments surrounding the Las Vegas run.
