Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival is set to return to Florida’s Sunshine Grove from March 2nd–5th, 2023, and with it comes the festival’s traditional PoWoW! jam session. Festival organizers have shared the lineup for the 2023 superjam, which includes Anderson .Paak‘s backing band The Free Nationals, OutKast rapper Big Boi, members of Goose, and more.
Guitarist/vocalist Rick Mitarotonda and keyboardist/guitarist/vocalist Peter Anspach will represent Goose at the 2023 PoWoW! jam. Also joining the collaboration are drummer Adam Deitch (Lettuce) and keyboardist Borahm Lee (Pretty Lights) who together form the livetronic duo Break Science. Rounding out the lineup is former Earth, Wind & Fire multi-instrumentalist Mo Pleasure in addition to surprise guests.

This superjam will mark the latest collaboration between Big Boi and Goose, who back in October joined forces in Austin. The night prior to Goose’s set at Austin City Limits, the band played an ACL late-night show at Stubb’s Bar-B-Q, welcoming Big Boy and Sleepy Brown to sit in on the Outkast classic “So Fresh, So Clean”.
Each of the artists participating in the March 4th PoWoW! jam will perform individual sets at Okeechobee. ODESZA, Baby Keem, GRiZ, Excision, Earth, Wind & Fire, Goose, and Turnstile, are all on tap to headline the festival. Tickets are on sale here.
